" Christmas " - My gift ... " I'm OK mom "

Dec. 25, 2006

Christmas Morning...

Today, my prayer was answered, my gift was given, my fears relieved...I got to hear your voice...what a gift that was, especially after hearing of the loss of one of our soldiers in your company.

We just PRAISE God you're ok, David...however, our hearts break for you, the soldier, their family and all the men in your company.

I'm SO sorry for the loss of your close friend, John.

I know this is a VERY difficult time for you...we're here for you, son.

There are no words I can say to convey how our heart aches for you right now, after hearing the sorrow in your voice.

As word was recieved of the loss of Cpl. John Barta in your company, our hearts just sank.

Our condolences & prayers go out to the family.

But, as your mom...I can't help but think of you, what you're going through.

Just know we LOVE you, son.

We are PRAYING for you, over & over again...continually!

This was such a sad day to have gotten such tragic news...on what should have been a peaceful holiday, celebrating the birth of our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ.

There are so many things in life we never understand, they just don't make sense to us, but, God says we are to "Lean not on our own understanding".

It's time's like this, that we MUST put things in His hands, and, trust Him.

Today, as we shared dinner, exchanged gifts...we lit a candle in your absence...a reminder you ARE with us, in spirit.

We're counting the days, until you come home 0n leave...that will truly be a blessed day!

Until then, love upon love!

MOM

" Brandon T. Titus " - NEVER FORGET

Today, in remembrance of SPC Brandon T. Titus, I ask each of you, to join me in prayer for his family ... as we remember the service & sacrifice of this hero, on what would have been a day to celebrate his birthday.

SPC Brandon T. Titus ( 20 )
Dec. 12, 1983 - Aug. 17, 2004
KIA - IRAQ

"THANK YOU" son, a true hero!

May God Bless them, ALL !

In August, Larry & I traveled to Boise, Idaho to pay our respects to this hero whom we never had the privilege of knowing personally... and, his father, sister & many friends.

We attended the 2nd Annual " Brandon Titus Memorial Ride " which benefits families of fallen soldiers.

While visiting Brandon's grave, Larry sounded Taps for this hero.

I left a flowers, a CD ... "It Is The Soldier" & lyrics to the song with a photo of our son, SPC David Dale, who's now serving in IRAQ.

NO words can ever express our love & gratitude to each of these brave soldiers who step forth, risk their lives & bravely defend our liberties and, pave the way for liberty for others.

In Sept. 2006, we paid our respects to Brandon, again as well as, several other heroes ... at the
1st Cavalry Memorial at Fort Hood, Texas.

To Brandon's family... Tom, Libby, Debi ... extended family & friends ... you are constantly in our hearts & prayers.

For two years, I could never get Brandon out of my heart & mind ... then, on Memorial Day 2006, Brandon's story moved me to write the beautiful, moving song,
" Brandon's Coming Home "... it's a conversation from Heaven ... The Father, to the father.

May it be a blessing to ALL who hear it ... Brandon, America's son ... "Rest in Peace "

"Thank You ... Soldier"

You have forever touched my heart & soul !

" Inspired by the life, family & friends of one incredible young man ...
Who gave his ALL for our nation! "

SPC Brandon T. Titus - ( 20 ) Boise, ID

KIA - Aug. 17, 2004

" Brandon's Coming Home "
( The Father, to the father ... Conversations from Heaven )

All the tears are over, now ... all the fear, is gone.
Tell all his friends ... and, would you let the family know
We just got the word ... Brandon's coming home.

I'm sorry ... but, I'll have to go, now.
There's so much ... I must do,
I need to clean the house, prepare a meal ...
And, I'd like to straighten up ... that room.

I wish you could be here,
But, I'm sure ... he'll understand
And, when you come home ... we'll both be waiting
And, Brandon ... will take you by the hand, and ....

You, Me & Brandon ... will sail the seas
You, Me & Brandon ... we'll ride ... the breeze.
We'll have ... forever ... to make memorie
You, Me & Brandon ... you'll see!

We'll have ... forever ... to make memories,
You, Me & Brandon

You, Me & Brandon ... will sail the seas
You, Me & Brandon ... we'll ride ... the breeze.
And, We'll have ... forever ... to make memories

But, for now,

" It's My Time " ... " Brandon's Coming Home " ... to me.

( From The Father ... to the father ... Conversations from Heaven )

" Remembering Pearl "

Dec. 7, 2006

Once again, Larry & I had the extreme honor of performing for the Georgia Pearl Harbor Survivor's Association's ( P.H.S.A. ) State Remembrance Day dinner in Macon, Ga.

May we never ... " NEVER FORGET! "

What an incredible group of folks ... living history, listening to their stories in their own words are so humbling.

After a wonderful dinner, a great message ... the ringing of the bell, Larry sounded Taps following a moment of silence the exact moment of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

I also shared my spoken/prayer version of " God Bless America ".

I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to call these heroes, "friends". What a blessing it is to be in the presence of each & every survivor, and, the family members of those gone.

Last year, I first had the privilege of sharing the moving Tribute Song I wrote in Nov. 2002 after my first visit to The Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, it's titled, "Remembering Pearl".

May it be a blessing to ALL who hear it ... may they NEVER be forgotten.
